LIFETIME SALES STOP PER JAN. 1ST 2019

19.11.2018   20 comments

TO ALL MEMBERS

The sales of the popular Lifetime All-Inclusive subscription in the VRC e-shop will be stopped on January 1st 2019.

The reason for this decision is that VRC Pro needs a more continuous stream of revenues in order to keep its servers and services up and running for years to come. Starting January 1st of 2019, members will only be offered 1, 3, 6 and 12 months all-inclusive subscriptions (with recurring payments) to get access to all game content. The prices of these subscriptions will be reduced to a significant lower level, prices to be announced before the end of the year.

Our focus for 2019 and beyond is to give you the best virtual r/c racing experience possible with the existing software, content... read more

PAINT YOUR OWN RALLY-X BODY PROJECT

Following earlier body paintjob projects for the GT3 bodies, we now invite our members with advanced Photoshop skills to start working on paintjobs for the Rally-X body.

The required files are available from:
Max 3DS model: https://www.vrcworld.com/static/rallyx_max.rar
Photoshop template: https://www.vrcworld.com/static/rallyx_template.rar

Double-click on the files to open the rar file, and place the individual files in a separate folder.
I suggest you create a copy of these files so you always have the original to turn back to.

Once you have created your paintjob you must save your design as a 1024x1024 pixel jpg called 'skor_diff.jpg'

You can view your design with the free Autodesk 3D viewer (browser based) which can be downloaded from https://viewer.autodesk.com/.
You must create an account in order to use this viewer. The 'alpha' (used for holes and wheel arches) and the opacity (windscreens) aren't perfect, you should ignore that and not try to improve ... read more
