I have been working on the multi-player event structure for the past 3 months trying to come up with a structure that is both in line with what you are used to in terms of event selection and racing, and implementable. Don't underestimate the complexity of this project, we have allocated 9 months for the implementation and the testing.
In a series of news items I will lead you through the whole process, showing mock-ups of new website and in-game event and multiplayer screens, and explaining how this new structure is going to work.
We are not in a position to offer server based and scheduled multi-player events like for instance iRacing does. That is a much more complex and expensive development which is totally out of the scope of VRC. 2 New 'Steam Powered' racing series are added for 1:8 nitro sportscars and 1:8 nitro buggies. Both series have on-going rankings with 12 out of 18 of your best results counting for the ranking. The results will also count for the Steam points ranking on the Steam platform! For both these new Steam Series additional DLC track packs are required.
For 1:8 nitro sportscars: STEAM international Nitro On-road tracks Deluxe

The new Steam Powered series start on Monday April 1st. Qualifying period is 10 days, and the Main final period is 4 days, giving you plenty of time to get your results in among all the other VRC series and events.
