Javan Candy from the UK has scored pole position after 4 days of qualifying at Harper Adams NEO13 track. David Barcena from Spain and Fredrik Boden from Sweden complete the provisional podium after qualifying. With 2013 VRC World Champ Martin Wollanka in 4th nothing is decided yet, most important task ahead is to try to get into the A-Main final now for the last round, that's when it counts!
Candy drove a very controlled qualifyer hitting a 32 second lap just once in the 5 minute qualifyer. The track was quite green during qualifying but the grip is likely to go up in the Semi Finals which have started today and will last till Friday morning. The Final round is scheduled for Friday till Monday morning CET.

Hungarian racer Barnebas Toth finally grabbed victory in Season after finishing 3rd twice. It was a hard fought victory after battling it out with Javan Candy from the UK. Toth took over the lead in lap 21 after a few shaky laps of Candy, and never looked back to finish with 34 laps, 1 lap more than the rest. Rick Redmin had to settle for 3rd starting from pole but lost the lead mid race and could not recover. With only one race to go and only the best 4 results to be counted for the Sewries win, nothing has been decided yet.

Round 3 was held at the Rhein Main circuit, but this time in reversed direction. VRC Pro tracks have been optimized to allow them to be raced in both directions, and this race is proof of this concept. 2 Tracks in one!
SPORTS CLASS
For this round we decided to cover the SPORT A-Main because it was a great race to cover and to show you some other racers than the Wollanka's of VRC Pro.
The race was very much between Robert Hillman from Sweden, Christoph Dobetsberger and Andi Schari both from Austria. Hillman got off to a great start and took the lead in lap 3 never to give up that position. But in his mirrors were the 2 Austrian racers. It took Christoph till lap 13 to finally pass his fellow country racer. A late pitstop in lap 30 even got him into first place with just 4 laps to go but after he had also refueled he had to settle for 2nd place 2.7 sec. behind the leader from Sweden.
