BASHER EVENTS CREATED

I have created 2 events for the 1:10 Basher truck, on on the VRC Bash Pit and one at C-Netic Bashing ground.

The objective is to collect replay files of the Basher truck which can then be used to offer Basher truck opponents when this chassis and track combination if selected for Practice mode. You can then chase the opponents around and try to crash into them with 'collision on' mode. Just to attract Bashers into VRC, they could eventually start racing buggies or short course trucks and become new active VRC racers!

These 2 tracks are wide open, no track piping to mark the track. You can drive anywhere, in any direction. Only when entering the pit area (which is where the car is staged when you enter the track) a lap is counted. But the number of laps is insignificant as this is not a race.

When the race or better, the session is finished, make sure to drive back to the staging area to finish your run and wait for the result to be displayed. Only then your replay will be saved and uploaded to our servers.

Thanks for participating and helping VRC to expand into the vast world of bashers!

Do you still need some replay footage? I can spend some time on this tomorrow. I know this is an older forum but please let me know if this is still needed. Glad to help

Posted by: Pieter Bervoets (NL) on 21.6.2024 11:43:33 (UTC) Spec basher can drive in Modified event, not the other way around.

It's not letting us even select the spec Basher as an option

DO NOT JUST DRIVE CIRCLES TO GET AS MANY LAPS IN AS POSSIBLE! THAT IS NOT THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS TEST EVENT

Just watched the replay, some of you are just driving circles to get a high lap count. That is NOT what we need, this is not a race!

The idea is that you just bash around for 5 minutes, jumping, doing flips etc. At the end the replays are saved. During the end-of-season maintenance these replays will then become available as opponents when you select Practice mode. You can then try to bash and crash with these opponents, which is much harder than you think!

Appreciate when you could help to get these runs in!

Is this only for mod class. All I have is the stock basher, and I'm getting the 1805 error.
