I like this changes. Philippe is right.

Big club can do interesting club races meanwile. Perhaps also some races with less tries and or longer and in 2 weeks instead of four.

For Worlds i see only 3 days of qualifying. Perhaps 4 like regular events could be better for more entries.

all classes are raced in this season, only divided between mod and spec. The objective it to increase the participation in each of the classes. Since 2016 we have added 3 new classes and it is obvious that this is diluting the other classes. Let's see what happens in Season 1.

Not sure if it would be better to add the other class for each category with this schedule, but what about having one season only, with each event being longer with the two classes in each category at the same time ?

Sure, it makes it like having half the number of races per year, but being able to run Spec and Mod in the same race could bring more people, and with more time for each race, makes it easier for everyone to find time to run for practice, qualif and main.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it would be better, just a thought

Philippe you are right!
But the official championship is so interesting to run!!!
Anyway, as you said I can practice at anytime.

I agree with Fred Fouilland, I don't really understand that we have to wait the season 2 to run with the other class...
This is a simulator, and for me this is for improving my driving skills for real RC races, so I prefer to spend my time to run on Mod class because it's very close to what I am running in real life. Spec class is more for fun than for a simulation of real competition RC cars.

1. You can practice with VRC 24 hours/7 day a week, you don't need a race for that.
2. Start a Multi-Player session, 24 hours/7 day
3. Take part or start a club race event

@Sebastian It's NEO 8.

I thought they were going to fix the NEO and Psycho names so they made sense?

Hi Pieter,
as you wrote here that all spec classes have the free choice of view one has to notice that at the GT3 spec event for Fiorano as a sample the view is forced!!! Is this a mistake?
Grip is 99%, is this correct?

One question :
why not add the other Mod/Spec in each category but on the same track ?

Examples :
- 1:10 SC trucks 13.5T spec
Round 1: RCX 1
add Mod on the same track and same days

- 1:8 Rally X modified
Round 1: Messina X
add Spec on the same track and same days

It would also allow the ones who prefer Spec to run in all types of cars, and same thing for the one who prefer Mod

And for the ones having enough time to run it all, once you're on a track, you can do both and can start with Spec to get a feeling of the track then make your runs in Mod
