I was racing IRL between 2005 and 2007 at Mach Heemstede. My father had a car too, but after one 1 year, he decided ... Hi. My name is Jacco and I'm from the Netherlands (Hoofddorp).
I was racing IRL between 2005 and 2007 at Mach Heemstede. My father had a car too, but after one 1 year, he decided to be only my mechanic and watched my trainings & races. My car was the Team Corally CCT and I played sometimes with my fathers 4x4 Touring Corally. I raced 3 official races. I can't remember the name of the first race, but I was the youngest kid at this time in 2005, who participated at Mach. The other 2 races are the MACH electro 2007 ZAC CCT 3th place. & MACH-ZAC 2007 3th place CCT. Actually there where only 4 people (4th was my mentor wich teached me allot) in the first race and 3 at the last race. The 1st & 2nd guys where friends of each other and had modified their motors wich could not be rated by the officials. But at the end it was really nice to participate at real race's.
Some people maybe can remember who I was when I tell them that I raced with a Dutch Police body me and my father painted. After me, their was another guy racing a police car.
In 2007 there was commotion between me and another guy that caused me to stop.
My gear 2005 - 2007:
Battery: 6s Intellect NiMh with the Spintec.nl I.C.C. charger. Later LiPo.
Steering: first 27MHz, shortly after that I got the Spektrum 2.4GHz DX2 (wich I race at VRC)
