Welcome to the Halifax VRC Club

A club based at the Halifax UK track, I hope I can get some members who have raced the Track in real life as I have.

I would like to get members who like electic cars to join so I can hold several 10th and 12th scale events a weeks the tracks I'd like to race on are both outside and indoor carpet tracks, members are welcome to surjest events.

I have done some 1/8th scale races which are 20 to 30 minuets long when I go into the pits I stop the car but the pitstop doesn't happen so I loose time stoping and then when its stop or run out fuel I loose a lap in time because the sim doesn't count the lap when you have to press ctrl+space to enter the pits is this a common problem.

It happend also for me today.
Last Lap out of fuel, pressed shift+space to go to pit, crossed the line, but lap not counted.
So i had a result of 30 laps with 19:48 instead 31 and 20+

I had a major gripe with this too.
I think they have updated it recently for the scenario in the pits...at one point you were put back on the track (from the pits).
Not sure if we still loose the lap if you ctrl+space on the track. Will have to check.

I totally agree this is what should happen, if your in the pit lane and then press ctrl+space once your car has stoped the lap counter should continue.

I agree with you Chris, it happens some times and it is frustrating. The solution that I can think is, when you press ctrl+space and you are everywhere in the pits area (especially spots that you can't refuel) or even in the track (but the part that is in front of the pits), then the car should go to the right spot for refuel and the lap to count normal. Or even put this function on dedicated new button.
