STEAM POWERED RACE SERIES 2017 1:10 ELECTRIC TC COLLEGNO

PRO level

British driver Reece Hodges has won STEAM POWERED race of 1:10 electric touringcars at Collegno circuit. This 19 years old talent was fastest also at qualifying round, hitting 17.458 average, he left Japanese driver Taro Matsuoka, 2.7 seconds behind.
Mainfinal was real tight, as Matsuoka was pushing in close range. But Hodges hold his nerves and won this race with 1 second gap to Matsuoka. Hong Kong driver Carson Yeung and South African Jason Hillcoat had great fight of last podium place. Fight was very tight and they swapped places few times, and heading for last lap, Hillcoat was at third place. At last lap, Yeung got better line and exit at turn two and this allowed him to pass Hillcoat. Yeung drove tight last curves and crossed the line in third place. Really enjoyable fight! Difference was only 0.2 seconds.
Spaniard Jon Esteban Martin was fifth and Taiwan driver Tzu hua Su 6th.

SPORT level

SPORT level was won by Japanese driver Matamune O. Matamune had stable first place, closest to challenge him was Hong Kong`s Wil Ho, but he was over 5 seconds behind when race ended.
Ho was also in stable second spot, as third place went to Saud Sulaibeekh from Bahrain, Sulaibeekh gap to Ho was 13 seconds.

CLUB level

Greek driver Dimitrios Ioannidis and Portuguese Paulo Bartolo solved the win at CLUB level.
At early stage of the race, Bartolo was actually in better pace and was leading this pack. But from 6th lap, Ioannidis got better rhytm, had greater pace and this secured his win in here. Difference between these two was one second when race ended. Czech driver stanislav Pavlicek drove to third place.
