Directly after the start/finish line, I call this 'banked corner' 'turn1',
To the right of the Rostrum is 'turn2'.
As normal it's necessary to keep as close to the inner line as possible without touching it.
With turn1 it does not help to run medium high or high, however, the low exit is tricky and you need to release steering angle and go as close as you dare to the rostrum wall.
The less steering angle you use the more speed you will get.
Turn2 is tricky because you cannot risk going wide, and you cannot turn in too soon, the smoother you can hold a tight line the better.
This is where practice and more practice does improve your consistency but it does take weeks and weeks.
I find after 2 hours on the same day I can only go slower.
Keeping accurate lines for a 5 minute 46 lap race is a serious test of man and machine.
All adjustable items on spec/ modified cars and controller setup, even small changes have a major effect on lap times, mostly worse.
There are many options to be adjusted 1 thing at a time, the stopwatch is telling you the truth.
Driving has to be ice cool, smooth and stable.
In the Weekly Events - watch the recordings and copy and practice the lines used.
