RC is a dangerous hobby, mobiles and tools can hurt, substances like lipo or nitro are toxic and highly flammable, fuels are poison. Keep it away from childs. Always supervise childs, have in proximity fire extinguisher, water, and anti-poison phone number.

Playing MP3 music during training added: 20.05.2011

If you have some favorite MP3 collection and you are used to listen to it for example during practice, you can put those MP3 files into 'Music' folder within game installation path. Your operating system must have codecs for playing MP3 installed - if you are used to listen to it on your PC it most probably has ;-)

Then you can enable it in Options -> Sound Options by enabling 'music' setting. You can also adjust it's volume.

For controling you can use keys:
F9 - play mp3 music
F10 - stop playing mp3 music
F11 - play next mp3 song

If you are running game under Windows 7 in windowed mode, you can also use thumbnail buttons for controling this feature.

https://www.vrcworld.com/static/manuals/thumbnail_view.jpg

button 1. - play mp3 music
button 2. - stop playing mp3 music
button 3. - play next mp3 song

NOTE: I will finish this tip with note, that playing mp3 music will turn off music background loops

that is what I would prefer, my music library is huge,I could never copy it to another folder, it would fill my drives, lol To just set the folder location would be best.

As of now, I run Windows Media Player in the background, however, having VRC and my library on a separate drive from windows, occasionally makes the game lag, when I close WMP the lag goes away.

I had the same problem and put the "Music" folder inside the program folder:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Virtual RC Pro"

and it works

True, if folder does not exist, then just create it in folder where you have installed the game, this functionality is 'optional', we implemented it for you to be able to do such thing if you want to, in future we plan to extend it to be able to set totally custom path in options and also support playlist files of some kind. At this point it was more about disabling it completely or leave it as it is now, which is the option we decided for beta test so far.

It's up to you - users, what do you prefer and if you would like to use such feature or not at all.
