How to learn a new track. [for newbies] added: 23.05.2011

I want to tell you the best way how to learn and a new track.

1. When you start to select the track, look at it. Is the track indoor / outdoor, which surface and technical, mixed or fast?
Then use your available knowledge of setting up a car and setup the right motor, gearing and esc. You can also set, if you know the general settings for the surface, your car geometry.

2. Now start and drive the track. It's very important not to drive too fast around it. Drive slowly first and try to hit the corner right. In the course of time, speed up your driving style. Just try to learn the track.

3. Now you can make fine / sharper adjustments of your car. STEP BY STEP!
Only one change and try it out. Let's look how the car is feeling. Every adjustment can change the car extremely!

You can find Setup guides and some other nice stuff on the internet. I can advise the Hudy Setup Guide (Chart).

Don't forget to save the settings for runs in the next gamingsession.

Does this work in the game or is this real life? I am not sure if it does or doesn't. I am going to post a video of me soon.

Look for something like D/R or Dual Rate on your radio settings

If steering is too sensitive around neutral, try some negative expo on your transmitter or in game under "control options". If steering range is too big, turn down dual rate on your transmitter or steering lock in the setup.
Btw. a better place to post such questions is in the forums.
