Compare your top speed to the speeds of the top drivers to close in on good gearing.

Be aware that your line, aero trim, motor choice, tune, or set up might play into top speed, but if there is a huge difference either faster or slower you know something is up.

This tip works best in the spec classes where limited choices and general slowness has most guys pinned down the main straight.
