I have been reading recently in regards to proper posture and how it effects blood flow to the brain. I know you are asking, what does this have to do with RC racing or virtual RC?
The answer is simple... everything.

When seated or standing with a proper posture it increase's the blood flow to the brain 20%. This will give you a faster hand/eye coordination, resulting in better racing. If your reaction time is improved then you will race better.

I encourage you to give it a try and see if you get the same results. My lap times are consistently faster by a few seconds when in a proper seated position. Not to mention its just better on your back all around.

Also studies have shown that striking a power pose (think superman) will increase adrenaline flow to the brain, this will give you a boost in self confidence that will translate into you being a better competitor mentally.

So take a second before you hit the stand or start your race to prepare yourself, why not you spend hours wrenching on cars.
