I want to mention also the importance on the settings of the remote control, they help me a lot in the handling of the car. I try to tame down myself in order to avoid making mistakes. I have an old Airtronics M8 and I play a lot with the EXP and "SPEED" usually I set the Steering Exponential somewhere in between -15 to -20 and the Steering SPEED to -20 that way the car respond more slow, but you have the time for counter act in case is necessary. With Throttle I like to setup the Exponential to +10 maximun, and the Throttle Speed to -15. It help accelerate more consistent. I hope this help, also I am open to suggestions.
Thanks.

Good tip Ely. May be someone want to upgrade or renew the wheel grip. I have already a foam wheel grip and i like it. Let's say... just ok.

Yeah, ok,unfortunately that radio model doesn't have that setting. There is an easy trick/modification that you can try, I have it done in my radio and works very nice. All you have to do is to put a foam tire, from a 1/10th or 1/12th scale on road car, (depending on the outer diameter of the steering wheel of your radio), over the steering wheel of your radio. Remember also the thickness of the wall tire that you use will affect the speed and sensitivity of the steering. The larger the diameter of the steering wheel, the more you need to move the wheel in order to achieve the same rotation of the steering, so it is going to take you more time. It is like slowing down the servo speed. You could try tires with different wall sizes in order to fine tune it. Hope this help you.

I have a wheel radio a Sanwa MX-V 2.4Ghz

Here a detail of the trigger.

It's quite basic but it has just all i need (trim, epa, expo, 10 models...).

Now i'm curious to try this setting.

Andrea what remote control are you using?
18.01.2017 [19:30]
No, it doesn't have that function :(
Like you i have zero exponential in the game and adjust it in the radio and more break than needed in the setup so i can reduce it with the EPA.
For the sterring lock i prefer adjust it in the setup.

Andrea, does your remote control has a setting to let you modify the speed at which the servos will respond? That setting will help you A LOT to achieve a more smoothly controlled turns and precise throttle control. I like to play with that in conjunction with the Exponential until I achieve a more controlled car handling.

Hi Andrea, in the game the exponential is set to 0, for Steering as well as for Throttle. I prefer to use the remote control settings instead the game settings because of convenience, for me it is easier and faster to change the settings in the remote control, rather than leave the practice to go to the pit table and then the options menu.

Hi Ely, thanks for your tips. Can we know if in the game in options-controller the exponential is to zero or to -20 (default)?.
I use a lot (around -50%) of exponential in the sterring (zero in the game) more or less in all classes.
I play also with negative exponential on the throttle with modified electric cars.

In rally is very important for me the exponential... They are so sensitive!
