S3 Week 1

24.02.2025

The latest race took place on the Las Vegas Pre-Worlds track, providing racers with a challenging and fast-paced layout that tested both skill and strategy. The competition was fierce, with drivers pushing their limits to secure the best lap counts and times.
Brian Nesbitt emerged as the dominant force, completing 17 laps in 10:25.974, making him the top finisher of the event. His ability to maintain speed and consistency on the demanding Las Vegas circuit gave him the edge over the competition.
Gabriel Doiron put in a strong performance, completing 16 laps in 10:13.552, just ahead of Jonathan Gagnon, who also managed 16 laps but with a slightly slower total time of 10:34.005.
The battle remained tight further down the field, with Jonathan Hylton leading the group of 15-lap finishers at 10:01.777. Marc-andré Gauthier followed closely behind, crossing the line with 15 laps in 10:10.603, while Joel Lagace wasn’t far off at 10:13.349. Dave Walker also completed 15 laps, finishing in 10:22.566.
Fadi Salibi fought through the race but was only able to complete 13 laps in 10:46.202, rounding out the field.
Overall, the Las Vegas Pre-Worlds track provided the perfect setting for an exciting and competitive race. Nesbitt’s ability to squeeze in an extra lap over the rest of the field proved to be the decisive factor in securing victory. Meanwhile, the battle among the 15-lap and 16-lap finishers demonstrated just how close the racing was, with mere seconds separating their final times.
It was a fantastic display of racing, setting the stage for even more thrilling battles in the future!

In mod we saw Andrew Bucar RC take top spot, for some that might be a new name, but don't be fooled, he has been around VRC for a long time .... oh, and he is fast. All I can say is that at least it took him 3 attempts to take top spot by 6 seconds 😉. Kevin Tyler easily takes the final podium spot. New to the group racer Gabriel Doiron in a solid 4th place after a nice run in spec too.
Mid group was tight as usual with Gagnon, Gauthier, Lagace and Hylton all separated by 10 seconds in the end. Gauthier with the only other no marshal run !
This week we head back outside for the other large track Pattaya. Bring those spare parts bags as you are going to need them!
