2017 SEASON 1 1:10 ELECTRIC TC 13.5T SPEC ROUND 5 CARPET JPH
Fifth round race of 1:10 electric tc spec 13.5 serie was raced at Carpet JPH circuit.
At PRO level we saw very intence and tight semifinal round as the first five drivers were inside one second. Austrian talent Christian Löb was fastest and took pole for the final. Dana Bailes got second grid, with 0.6s margin to Löb. Nedrebo and Saputra were third and fourth, 0.728 and 0.844 seconds behind pole winner. Britains Ben Gayson filled this pack and was fifth fastest, 0.862s behind Löb.
By these results we could expect anybody from this group to take this one, and also behind this group was five talents more. Carson Yeung at sixth grid wasnt easy opponent either, but he needed to find two 10th`s more pace, if he wanted to challenge those guys at front.

SEASON 1 2017 RALLY X SPEC ROUND 5 Mach Rally X
Fifth round of Rally X spec serie was held at Mach Rally X track. American Ely Rojas was on fire from the start of this event. At qualifying his average was 24.866 and compared to others, Ely was on his own pace. Carson Yeung was second, over 8 second behind Rojas and Robert Hillman third, 6 seconds from Yeung.
Going for semifinal round, things were tighter. Yeung had raised his pace and was standing at second place, only 2.2 seconds behind Rojas. Rojas had average 25.1 and Yeung 25.2.
American Marshall Kirkholm earned third and Swede Robert Hillman fourth grid. Kirkholm had 12 and Hillman 14 seconds to TQ winner Rojas.
Things were looking promising for the main final, and we could only hope that Yeung at second grid had founded something for the final round. Yeung had the pace to challenge Rojas.

Friday April 21st a new carpet indoor track will be released: MB Models Raceway.
This track design came 2nd in the 2016 Carpet Indoor Track design competition and was entered by VRC racing legend Graham Raistrick. Graham's design wasn't his own but he thought it was time VRC had a proper board-style indoor carpet track so he used MB Models design. In stead of fitting the track into the VRC Carpet hall 3D artist Tony West recreated the original MB Models hall as well. With a length of 130m it's a medium size indoor track with average traction.
The new venue will be part of the 2017 Season 1 racing series for 1:10 and 1:12 electric cars and will soon prove to be a very popular track for avid electric racers from around the world.
MB Models Raceway will be immediately available on April 21st for All-Inclusive members. Free2Play members can purchase the track in-game with vEuros which are available in the VRC e-shop.

2017 SEASON 1 1:10 ELECTRIC TC 13.5T SPEC ROUND 4 CARPET 3
Carpet 3 circuit was hosting 4th round of 1:10 electric touring spec serie. French Xavier Deparde was holding serie lead after three rounds with full points and we just wanted to see, was there anybody, who could challenge this 36 years old onroad talent. Ok, at this event there was lot talents to do so, but with Xavier you have to be very precise, fast and consistent.
First two rounds of this event, qualifying and semifinal, went to Deparde, but we were glad that we had got some challenger who was driving very similar pace as Deparde.
Double Worldchampion Andrea Giordano was furios, and was half second behind Deparde at qualifying and gained his pace for the semi, losing only 0.026s to Deparde.
Norwegian Mathias Nedrebo was third fastest in semifinal, 4.1 behind Deparde.

SEASON 1 2017 1:8 ELECTRIC BUGGY SPEC round 4 Fear Farm
Fear Farm track was hosting 4th round of 1:8 electric buggy spec serie.
In semifinal round, Canadian Dan Phillion was the only one, who runned totally 14 laps. Another Canadian Andrew Bucar was standing at second place, 2 seconds behind. Third fastest was serieleader Hillman, with 3.6 distance to TQ.
The Final was very intence. Third grid owner Hillman had some struggles in early stage and he had to make very furios run, as his "battle mate" Bucar was also in very good pace. After 16 laps, Hillman crossed the line in third place and Bucar had to settle to fourth, 3 seconds behind Hillman.
Koski and Phillion fighted strongly of the win. Phillion was faster in early stage but Koski didnt give up. Koski had more consistent pace and this solved this win for him. Ok, Phillion made crucial mistake at lap 15 when they were starting last lap. He cutted ... read more
