With the long 6 months and 8 events Season 2 coming to an end, Season 3 is ready to be kicked off this week.
Season 3 will start September 20 and will end December 14 and will be 6 events with 4 counting for the championship. Events have been created for all Spec classes and modified classes in 1:10 and 1:12 electric on-road, 1:8 and 1:10 nitro on-road, and 1:10 short course trucks. Xray team driver and 2014 EFEA EC runner-up Martin Wollanka has added another victory to his already successful 2014 Season 2 campaign, outrunning Javan Candy from the UK by just 1.2 seconds after a 20 minute long fight. Wollanka looked to be cruising home with a 1 stop pitstop strategy but was forced to a splash and dash in the very last lap, bringing Candy right back on his tail. Backemeyer (US) drove a steady race to finish 3rd on the podium some 13 seconds down on the 2 leaders.
