We have just released a new lay-out at Mikes Hobby Shop. This is actually their current lay-out which will be replaced by another lay-out later this year.
The track is much more technical and demanding than 'Mikes 1' but should pose a new challenge to fast short course racers.
The official racing direction is clockwise, reversed direction is also available and is actually quite a nice ride as well. The racing direction can be set under Options -> Race options. You can also turn timekeeping completely off and just bash around on this track without getting any corner cutting and wrong direction warnings.
'Mikes 2' will be used for one of the later rounds of the 2012 Short Course Challenge.
The track can be purchased with vEuros. If you haven't saved enough vEuros yet you can get vEuro packs in the VRC World e-shop.
Enjoy this latest addition to our selection of exciting off-road tracks!

In just under a month they set a new distance record: 12.329 km. Who are 'they'? Mike Darnell of Mike's Hobby Show, his staff and his customers! With their own indoor track in VRC Pro but the real track just a few steps away you would think they wouldn't really have to use VRC Pro. On the contrary, his staff, his customers and Mike himself just can't get enough of it.
As Mike puts it: "Have you seen how many laps my account has on it? We have the program running so people can try it out. Everyone loves the accuracy of our layout, how the car handles in relationship to the actual track and the way the car preforms. It is hard for me to actually get time on my own account!"

And it 's not only their own track they are racing on, they also spent time racing the 1:8 nitro racer on 2 of VRC's most popular European on-road tracks Lostallo and Messina. Thanks to Mike for putting VRC Pro up in his shop... read more
