The VRC Practice ground has been upgraded with an option to measure the acceleration times of your cars using different setups like fuel mixture, gearing, 2-speed and clutch settings, anything that may affect the acceleration of your car.
The 200m long test strip has 10m marking lines added all the way up to 140m! But the first 50m are most important and the strip timing is therefore divided in sections of 10m for the first 50m, and then a section of 50m. This gives a total test strip length with timing of 100m.
These split times are displayed at the right top of the screen. When returning to the starting line for another test run a longer time is displayed which can of course be ignored.
To compare acceleration results we suggest to make a screen capture of each test run using the 'Print Screen' option on your keyboard. These screenshots are saved in the Screenshots folder at C:\Users\....\documents\Virtual RC Pro\

As you probably will remember we are developing the 'Multi-player Event Organizer' (MPEO) structure. This structure will enable VRC members to apply for the the role of MP Event organizer. Consider this role as being like the race organizer of your local r/c club, but then virtual. The MPEO can create multi-player series and events on the VRC portal. He will host the multi-player sessions on his own computer, LIVE! The image below shows an example of a multi-player event page (development stage).
Live communication between the Multi-Player Event Organizer (MPEO) and the racers who participate in the mp sessions is of the utmost importance as you will understand. We have designed a communication structure for this MPEO project using the existing chat functionality but restricted to racers present in an multi-player session.
