Sorry to inform you that I am getting knee surgery on Thursday Dec. 5th. Although this is very necessary for me, I have been struggling with my knees for a long time, it is not critical, just very inconvenient and rather painful for me. It will surely affect my working schedule in the coming days and perhaps weeks. Rehabilitation may take as long as 6 weeks!

It has never happened before but it has now. Another racer other than Jimmy Flack leading a Worlds final oval racing for over a second... Billy Caley put up a real fight with Mr. Oval Jimmy Flack and led the Main Final 1:8 electric buggies at the VRC Dirt Oval for some 30 laps before he surrendering to Flack and finishing just 2 seconds behind the 'King'. Swiss Stefan Sidler finished in 3rd place 1 lap down on Caley.

Who will throw Jimmy Flack of his undisputed Oval thrown? Will he ever? Another chance gone by on the new Small Oval course at the Extreme Racing Complex, the latest addition to this complex bringing the total to 14 lay-outs! RIETVELD RUNS AWAY WITH THE VICTORY AT LOSTALLO
Round 4 of the 1/8 Nitro Sportscar Series took us to beautiful Lostallo in Switzerland where a large turnout of racers showed up to test their skills at the enormous track nestled in the valley. I now see that only one report is allowed per Event: I had planned on just doing Sport class, however, I have now added a few notes on Pro and Club.

PRO klasse
Francis Wathlet (B) was ‘king of the hill’ in deze klasse, met 2 duidelijke overwinningen op zijn Belgische compaan Nicolas Evens (organisator van de Belgium Short Course Cup). Arjan van de Graaf was met 2 tweede plaatsen nog in de race voor de 2de plaats in het eindklassement, maar in Race 3 op de Bash Pit Long Course kwam hij uiteindelijk een half rondje te kort op Nicolas Evens om uiteindelijk als 3de te eindigen.

PRO klasse
Deze klasse werd overtuigend gewonnen door Julius Kolff met 3 overwinningen uit 3. Na de eerste wedstrijd met slechts 0.5 sec te hebben gewonnen was Race 2 op Carpet-2 opnieuw een strijd tussen Kolff en Wathlet, die weer in het voordeel van Julius, maar nu met 1 sec. voorsprong werd beslist.
