Our hardware engineer has completed a big hardware upgrade of our servers. Especially the storage capacity which was at its limits the past 3 years, has been increased to a level which will be more than adequate now for years to come. Changing to SSD hardware will considerably improve data base access performance. We expect the servers to be more stable and reliable and capable of handling more simultanious users.
The hardware upgrade has no effect on game performance, this is entirely dependent on your own hardware. We are planning a major software upgrade for later this year.
We apologize for the downtime this upgrade has created, current events have been re-scheduled to allow you to finish your qualifying rounds.

Hej Pieter,
I haven't seen any software updates, as promised. What are the plans for VRC? Will it ever be updated with new tracks, cars, components or is it a forgotten piece of software? Don't get me wrong this is an excellent simulator (the best), but it is lacking new content for ages...
