With the long 6 months and 8 events Season 2 coming to an end, Season 3 is ready to be kicked off this week.
Season 3 will start September 20 and will end December 14 and will be 6 events with 4 counting for the championship. Events have been created for all Spec classes and modified classes in 1:10 and 1:12 electric on-road, 1:8 and 1:10 nitro on-road, and 1:10 short course trucks. Buggies does not have a Spec class (yet…).
DNS HALF POINTS…
New in Season 3 is that DNS-ers (those who did not start in the main final round) will receive just half the points they would have earned in their final if they would have started. We are seeing too many ‘did not start’ results in the main final round, this may encourage racers to spend some extra time to get their main final round in and get maximum points with their result. The Main Finals round has been extended another day, so now ends Sunday morning, maybe that will help as well to reduce the number of DNS results.
We feel it is justified to allocate only half points as racers who don’t start in the main final round have only completed half of the event.
SKILL LEVEL ADJUSTMENT
At the end of the season all the skill levels will be re-calculated and adjusted. The skill level also sets your racer class, this is the class you will be racing in next season. If you have done well in the past season your skill level may go up, and also your racer class will. If you have underperformed your skill level may go down and your racer class may also go down. However, you can always select to race in a higher class than your skill level. We will send you an in-game and web notification when the new skill levels are calculated so you can adjust your racer class upwards if you want. We expect this around the coming weekend.
DECEMBER WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON
December is VRC World Championship month. We will organize a World Championship in all classes, including Spec. The Modified classes will be open class racing, meaning there will be no division in racer classes, so everyone races together. The Spec classes will be raced with the usual racer classes Pro, Sport and Club.
We have a worlds first unique format for the electric classes. The 3 electric classes, on- and off-road, will race double duration main finals, so a battery pack recharge somewhere half way will become part of the racing strategy.
To attract as many racers as possible, the WC tracks will be free for the duration of the Worlds for that particular class, so anybody can join.

i dont no why my Skilllevel so bad. Season 2 was very nice. I miss the overall result in the Series News. Driver and Nations.
You should really think about it, the overall winner should get a trophy in their profile. under Trofhänen. That would be a big incentive to go back more series

When will the class change happen? New season started yesterday and old season ended this morning. Would be better next time to do a one week break.
Anyway I'm not sure but I remember that you can already race in a lower level and take your time/race result in the next level in a running event. Someone can confirm that?
