Welcome at the 2016 VRC Worlds 1:10 electric touringcars ISTC 13.5T Spec at the new VRC Carpet 6 track designed by Jukka-Pekka Huhtalla from Finland! This track was the winner of a track design competition held in the summer of 2016.

The race direction on this track will be NORMAL (clockwise).

This virtual Worlds will be raced in 4 rounds:

Timed practice - Tuesday Dec. 20 till Friday Dec. 23 (not mandatory round)
Qualifying - Saturday Dec. 24 till Tuesday Dec. 27 (cut at 500!)
Semi Finals - Wednesday Dec. 28 till Friday Dec. 30 (cut at 300!)
Main Finals - Saturday Dec. 31 till Monday Jan. 2

The VRC Worlds 1:10 electric touringcars ISTC 13.5T Spec class will be raced in 3 racer classes, so we will crown a Club, a Sport and a Pro VRC World Champion.

FERRANDO SHOW

Spaniard Javi Ferrando was unstoppable at VRC Pro Worlds 2016 in 1:10 electric spec race. This 20 years old talent won this race with overhelming style. From the first round of this event it looked that his pace so fantastic, and anyone couldnt answer that.
Tobias Seidl from Germany was man of the race, this German was really flying during the final. His semi didnt go as planned and he started from 10th grid. With furios, consistent style he pick up the driver's lap by lap and ended up to second place. Absolutely great driving.
Britains Reece Hodges started from second grid. At last laps he fighted with Seidl of that second spot but finally he got beaten, with frustrating 0.068 margin. Reece had some difficulties with motor temperatures and this affected to his driving.
Another name of the day was Dana Bailes from USA, Dana started from 9th grid and like Seidl, he passed his opponents lap by lap. With fast and furios driving, he crossed the line in fourth place, only 0.8 seconds behind third podium.
