Just 3 months after the WC took place, VRC releases the Silver Dollar IFMAR WC '13 layout. A testing track for short course trucks and 1;8 buggies. A track with a great flow but yet technical enough to separate the men from the boys...

Situated on the famous Silver Dollar Fairgrounds, A Main Hobbies’ Silver Dollar R/C Raceway was built to be the ultimate outdoor off-road R/C racing venue and just successfully completed the 2013 IFMAR Electric Off-Road World Championships. Each part of the facility was designed with both the racer and spectator in mind, with a comfortable pit area and bleacher seating for race fans.

CANDY PICKS UP WIN AT SILVER DOLLAR (ROUND 8)

02.06.2015

UK's Javan Candy, and avid 'gamer' racer has taken a great win at Silver Dollar 2 (2013 WC lay-out) over dominating and Series 1 leader Marcin Malinski. Matthew Stacey from Canada fought off a very well deserved 3rd over Frederik Boden from Sweden.

Malinski made a big error at the start of the race and repeated this 2x at about the same spot but managed to grab the lead over Candy after some 8 minutes of racing. It was then between Marcin and Javan almost till the end of the 20 minute race but a bad pitstop of Malinski handed the race to Candy. He well deserved win over an almost unbeatable Malinski! Make sure to watch the video to see the battle unfold.
