IMPORTANT CHANGES TO VRC PRO CONTENT

13.04.2017   Category: Site news

In an effort to make VRC Pro more attractive to FREE2PLAY members from a cost point of view, we have decided to make very significant price reductions to tracks, chassis and components. All these changes come into effect immediately.

PRICES OF TRACKS, CHASSIS AND COMPONENTS REDUCED 40-75%

We have made drastic price reductions on all the content that can be purchased in-game. Tracks and chassis have been reduced on average by 50%, all other components like motors, bodies, tires etc. by a massive 60-80%. With these price reductions VRC Pro has become a lot cheaper for Free-2-Play members who prefer to purchase the content when they want it, and build up their collection of tracks, cars and components step by step. This content is available directly in the game and can be paid for with vEuros (which can be purchased in the VRC Pro e-shop).

Tracks:
Large off-road €5.95
Small off-road €4.95
Rally-X €4.95
On-road €4.95
Carpet indoor €3.95
Oval €3.95

Chassis:
1:10 €3.95
1:12 €3.95
1:8 on-road €4.95
Short course €4.95
Rally-X €4.95
Buggy €5,95

Components:
Bodies €0.99
Wings €0.29
Nitro engines €0.99
Exhausts €0.49
Motors €0.99
ESC €0.49
Batteries €0.49
Wheels €0.35
Tires €0.49

ALL-INCLUSIVE MEMBERSHIPS
The best and in fact also the cheapest option to have access to all tracks, cars and components is still the All-Inclusive subscriptions, we offer 3, 6, 12 and 24-months subscriptions. The prices of the All-Inclusive memberships remain unchanged. Although the Lifetime All-Inclusive membership has been discontinued it may be offered to selected members based on their VRC profile (racing activity and spending) via exclusive e-mail offers.

VRC-3NT USB ADAPTOR WITH 1-MONTH ALL-INCLUSIVE AT SIGN-UP
When you sign up you can now purchase the VRC-3NT USB adaptor at the 40% off price of €14.95 and get a whole month of all-inclusive access to all tracks, chassis and components. This gives you the possibility to try out all classes and all tracks basically for free. Of course, we hope that you will decide to get one of the All-Inclusive subscriptions, but if you don’t know worries, you will automatically become a FREE2PLAY member and will then have access to all the free tracks and cars and you can purchase your tracks and chassis ‘on demand’.

FREE2PLAY TRACKS
The number of FREE2PLAY tracks has been reduced to 10:
VRC Practice ground
VRC Speedway OvaL
VRC Speedway Short
VRC Speedway Long
VRC Carpet 2
MHS 1
Bashpit
Bashpit Short
Bashpit Long
Osaka Drift Park

Rhein Main off-road and Rally X1 have been removed from the FREE2PLAY list.

FREE2PLAY CHASSIS
All the SPEC chassis remain FREE2PLAY, these chassis have very limited set-up options and are equipped with low performance engines and motors.

Posted by: Pieter Bervoets (NL) on 14.4.2017 7:04:08 (UTC) we use speedway long and short to offer weekly events to f2p members...

Why?
That doesn't bring any money to sim.
F2P as a test platform. An racing for real.

Testing can be done by them selves without racing. You are still giving up way too much for free.

And like seen how RallyX participants developes. All the time we get fewer participants because tracks are so poorly beta tested and They all are poring as ovals.
Rally X2 is only decent. And that could easily be a lot more fun if that track had a rough sections. Or something to to call as a catch

+ + +

I think you could still take bashpit and speedway long and short away from F2P.

F2P is for testing purposes.
