Welcome at the 2017 VRC Worlds 1:10 electric Nascar trucks at the new 2017 IFMAR Worlds Melzo Oval course.

The race direction on this track will be NORMAL (clockwise).


This virtual Worlds will be raced in 3 rounds and will use the bump-up sytem:

Top qualifyer will go directly to Super final
Top 200 racers will race the semi final
1+2+3 from Semi-final 1-2-3 will also qualify for the Super final
Top 100 racers will race the Main finals

Qualifying - Saturday Dec. 16 till Tuesday Dec. 19
Semi Finals - Tuesday Dec. 19 till Friday Dec. 22 (cut at 200!)
Main Finals - Friday Dec. 22 till Monday Dec. 25 (cut at 100!)

The VRC Worlds 1:10 electric Nascar trucks will be raced in 1 racer class, so we will crown 1 World Champion.

Oval King Jimmy Flag has restored order in oval racing after his defeat earlier on the Melzo Oval track. This time it was the other way around: Flack over Giordano, but the battle was as intens as before.

The art of oval racing is a special skill. To see the consistency you should take a look at the laptimes:

And it could even have been better if Jimmy hadn't crashed 10m before the finish line in his very last lap. Impossible to beat? Andrea Giordano put up a similar performance and was able to put pressure on Flack the first half of the 5 minute race, but couldn't keep up with the relentless pace and consistency of the oval king and had to give in 2 seconds after 35 laps. Shaun Schutte from South Africa won the battle for 3rd place over Terum from Norway (at 0.3 seconds) and Steven Halliday from Australia at 0.4.

It's 1-1 in the Flack-Giordano battle, the 20 minute 1:8 nitro NASCAR truck final will be the decider if the oval king continue his reign or will Giordano take over... Let the battle continue!
